Application Information
Please note: Completion of this application does not guarantee adoption of any animal. IHG reserves the right to refuse adoption to any person for any reason. We will determine the most suitable candidate to adopt any of our shelter animals. After completion of the application, follow up communication will be necessary to ensure a good match for you and the cat/dog.
If you already own a pet, your existing pet must be up to date with routine vaccinations. If your current pet is not current with vaccinations, we cannot place a new animal into your home.
All pets adopted from the Ipswich Animal Shelter must be spayed/neutered. If the cat/dog is not spayed/neutered before it leaves the shelter, you are responsible for having this done within an agreed upon time limit. If you use one of our veterinarians, IHG will pay the cost of the spay/neuter.
